Recent Olympic National Park vacation rental reviews

We were looking for a place to have a family get together for new years. Our 14 year old enjoyed the ability to have a room to their own with foosball and air hockey. The home was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to downtown, and had some nice places to walk. The kitchen was big enough to have 4 people cooking. Very comfortable and cozy.

Winter weather didn’t allow us to sit on the porch or use the firepit, but we enjoyed games inside and the electric fireplace. Tall cabinets, hooks and windows! Clothes washer & dryer use came in handy. We’re used to washing dishes by hand. Could have used a larger baking sheet and pan, but plenty of pots & lids. Cell reception for Verizon came through. Liked the mix of old front of house with narrow creaky stairs, and modern rear with spacious bathroom and laundry. Just 3/4 mi down the road we found a short hike through the state land trust - a perfect 1.5 hr journey when it wasn’t raining. We recommend Old Mill Cafe and That Takes the Cake in Sequim. Safeway has just about anything needed. We drove to Bainbridge, parked, and took ferry to Seattle for a day.

Breathe in the crisp mountain air and green old-growth forest. Reserve your stay in the Pacific Northwest’s wooded wonderland with Olympic National Park cabins. Traverse along hiking and backpacking trails across verdant treelines—just don’t forget to pack a rain poncho.

The park spans three distinct ecosystems: mountain ranges, dense mossy forests, and ocean coastline. With such a varied landscape, you can poke around tide pools or enjoy whale watching in the morning, and finish a hike around Hurricane Hill by the afternoon. In the spring, the meadows burst with vibrant wildflowers, and the wildlife is more active, making it the best time to visit.
