Charming place nestled on the bank of the creek in the heart of Moab!
Jacqui J.Jun 2022
Walking distance to shopping. Great little room for a few nights. Gave a 4 star needed a deep clean maybe new bedding. Additional little table to prepare food? like a rolling butcher block. Location is next to a river so trees create a mess outside. Needs moping especially under the Bed was kind of gross. Dust from spring pollen there are a lot of trees which we liked. Bathroom is spacious and the tub is nice. Biggest point of feedback would be a deep clean of window screens. Cobwebs outside patio. All and all we would stay again:)

Steps from all downtown but very quiet and secure river oasis.

Very friendly staff, clean, convenient location. Check in process etc seemed overly complicated through vacasa.

If you like a place with a spacious, well-appointed bathroom and don't care about cramped BD/living space, no working WiFi or no local contact information for addressing issues, this is your place.
Manager response:
We apologize if we were difficult to reach for any reason during your visit. The property manager will check that all advertised amenities are working properly. Thank you, George!

A nice respite from the sun and heat. Sitting outdoors was delightful and pleasant.

We stayed at the Creekside Cowa-Bungalow on our recent trip to Moab. The unit itself was clean and cozy. It was conveniently located close to shops, restaurants, and within walking distances to the locations for starting our excursions to the nearby national parks. The Cows-Bungalow overlooks the local walking/jogging/biking trail and has an exceptional back patio, perfect for reading. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Good location

Space was perfect. Only issue was no cable.

Within walking distance to downtown shops/restaurants. The bungalow was surprisingly spacious and nicely maintained. It felt like a hidden oasis.

The location is great just far enough away from the hub-bub of the town to feel secluded, but so close enough to walk. The tree cover and the creek are wonderful. The bathroom is beautiful. My only wish is that check in/check out weren't so tight. We had to wait to check in till 4 and check out was 10AM. 6hrs to clean a bathroom and bedroom seems a bit much.

This is in a great spot. Walking distance to the bustling Main Street of Moab but tucked in the back of a property by the creek. On the surface the unit was tidy but there were strings of dust and cobwebs from the ceiling to the the ac unit. Lots of dead bugs and dirty patio outside which was inconvenient since the table inside is really too small to sit at. I would not stay here again.
Manager response:
Hello Stephanie, We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns you encountered during your stay with us. Our team of housekeepers takes pride in their cleanliness standards, as it is a top priority service we provide for every guest prior to check-in. We are disappointed to see that this concern was not reported to us during your stay as we would have been happy to assist. We have passed your feedback along to our housekeeping staff so they are aware of your concerns. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

The location can not be beat, but that is really the only thing this place has going for it. If you live in the country and are not use to traffic noise, be prepared to be woken up frequently. The walls do not block any of the traffic sound out.
The tub looks awesome. Unfortunately, the water heater isn’t big enough so you can easily use it. My husband and I had to heat water in the microwave to supplement. We call Vacasa about this, and they supposedly sent someone out to fix it the next day. We noticed no change. Our showers for the week, were Luke warm at best.
The WIFI is unusable. It provides intermittent signal. Again, Vacasa supposedly had someone come fix it. We noticed no change.
Moab does get cold at night. The heater provided inconsistent heat. Twice during my stay it turned off and I woke up to a 56 degree room. And this place only provides you with a sheet and a fleece throw for the bed. I had some very cold nights.
There are south facing windows with no curtains on them. So if your not a early bird, too bad, the suns going to wake you up.
Finally, this place is small. My husband and I live in a small place, so we’re used to frequently tripping over one another. However, hit our bumping into one another limit very quickly. The way the space is laid out is wasteful and there is no storage. The kitchen and table are barely usable.
I truly feel I over paid for this place and would have been better off in a motel.
Manager response:
Hi, Lindsay! The convenient location does also bring some added noise, and we apologize for any disruption this caused during your visit. Our local staff was able to check on the water heater and verify that it is working properly. We make every effort to present clear, accurate descriptions of our homes in order for guests to make informed decisions on their rental choices. We encourage guests to reach out with any questions or concerns prior to booking, as we are happy to help. We look forward to hosting you again soon!

This quaint bungalow was perfect for two and a dog. Quiet, comfortable and easy access to restaurants and shops as well as gateway to Arches and Canyonland National parks as well as Dead Horse State Park.

I am really struggling with this review. I feel bad not leaving 5 stars but I had some issues with our stay. I will start with saying that the house is in a great location and the bathroom was great. Now onto the cons. I had put some shirts on one of the chairs and they fell on the ground under the table. When I picked them up there were clumps of dog hair on them. We didn’t travel with dogs and have no pets. I hate dog hair which is why we don’t have pets. We also looked under the bed and there were piles of dog hair. Also, the blanket on the bed had some stains that looked like it hadn’t been washed. I thought that with Covid the cleanliness would have been better. Overall, it was decent but sadly, I wouldn’t stay here again.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry the home was not cleaned thoroughly as is our standard We strive for a standard of excellence in ensuring the home is clean and accommodating for our guests. If there are any concerns or areas in need of additional attention, we hope to be notified so we can make sure any issues are addressed. We look forward to hosting you for a great stay in the future.

Kathleen M.Jan 2020
Enjoyed our stay here because it was right in town but very quiet and private. We could walk to numerous restaurants and shops.

Nice location. Nice accomodation.
A little challenging to find it in the dark although we appreciate keeping the night sky dark in Moab.
Edie S.Jun 2019
The Cowabungalow was unique. I opened the windows, and the sound of the river was wonderful.
Christena H.May 2019
This was right in the middle of downtown Moab. You can walk almost anywhere and arches is right down the road. The bathroom was huge and the tub was wonderful after a day of hiking.
Piotr S.May 2019
Great little house. Perfect for a couple. Location was amazing. Close to main street but just far enough from it that the noise wasn't a problem.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Katie G.Nov 2016
Clean, quiet, steps from restaurants and walking path.
Carolyn M.Oct 2016
The pretty creekside location and huge bathroom with soaker tub are what make this place! Shared communal grounds, not really private; but friendly and tranquil vibe. Traffic noise from main road an issue if you want to sleep with windows open.
Joellyn N.Oct 2016
We had a fabulous time in Moab, the cottage is just the right size for 2 people, perfect walking location to the town of Moab. The cottage is clean and cozy and love the style of the interior and exterior. We will book this again!
