Beautifully Updated Home - 10 Minutes to Heavenly & Beach

Find classic chalet-style and modern upgrades at this 3BR/2BA (+ den) alpine chalet. Completely remodeled in 2014, the inviting living spaces include granite counters and bamboo floors.

A 10-minute drive brings you to Heavenly, Regan Beach, the Stateline casinos, and dining favorites like Cold Water Brewery and Bob Dog Pizza.

Situated in a quiet community (no parties allowed), this rental has plenty of parking, a fenced backyard, and a quaint front porch with Adirondack chairs.


After a fun-filled day of mountain adventures, relax in the welcoming living room. Sink into the comfy sectional with a hot chocolate and watch a movie or DirecTV on the 55in flat-screen TV.

The well-equipped kitchen features gleaming granite counters and a full suite of appliances, including a dishwasher.

A second living space/den can also double as a fourth bedroom, complete with a full-size sofa bed. Kids love to tuck away in this room, outfitted with a 42in flat-screen TV. Double doors lead to a fenced yard with a view of the mountains.

Downstairs, the first bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed. A remodeled bath on this level offers a tub/shower combination.

The other two bedrooms are upstairs. One has a king bed, while the other has a queen bed and a charming twin daybed. These two bedrooms share a second bathroom, which has a glass walk-in shower.


Extras perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for four cars in the driveway (in tandem).

This home does not have air-conditioning, although it is rarely needed with Tahoe's mild summer weather. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms also ensure a pleasant breeze. The fireplace is not operational.

Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances.


A quiet neighborhood makes this rental ideal for families. The prime location is just a 10-minute drive from the beaches and the slopes at Heavenly. When dining out, head to Cold Water Brewery & Grill (just 2 miles away) serving laid-back California fare and craft brews.


Strict ordinances govern Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 6 people and 4 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day (meaning even an afternoon BBQ with too many people is subject to citation/fine). Over-occupancy, excess vehicles, or excessive noise any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 (in addition to fines assessed against the homeowner by local authorities). Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy may result in eviction. This home is in a sound-sensitive neighborhood and is not suitable for large/noisy groups. No smoking or pets are permitted.

Location was great, home condition was just as seen in the pictures. Check in was a breeze and so was check out. I would stay again.

We were happy to stay in this home in a peaceful quiet nieghborhood, but there were issues. First, the electronic lock would not work and the Vacasa help desk to 20 min to answer while my kids were outside freezing because it was 32 degrees when we arrived. Second, Vacasa said they would send someone to fix the lock which they never did. Third, the summary says it is a well equipped kitchen and it didn't even have a wisk. Fourth, in the house rules it mentions a gas grill but upon arrival it is in the garage and labelled off limits to guests. Fourth, the fan one of the upstairs bedroom was broken. Fifth, there is really nothing in the backyard and it is advertised as kid friendly. Last, there is no ice maker in the freezer and there was only a single ice tray. This is simply inadequate for a house that sleeps at least 6. Otherwise, the home was clean, comfortable, and a pleasant place to stay. My experience with Vacasa would lead me recommend the owners find someone else to manage their property.

The lock has been fully repaired and is working correctly. The wisk is located in the drawer to the right of the stove. We are sorry for any confusion but our listing does not mention a grill as an amenity. The owner’s grill in the garage is not labeled for guest use. The fan has been repaired and there are two ice trays in the freezer along with an additional tray in the cup cupboard. We will review and see what outdoor games can be added. We hope to host you again soon.

This home is very charming with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The neighborhood is quiet and a short drive to state line.
A/C would have been nice but the ceiling fans and window breeze helped combat the heat upstairs.
